Most of the students in the top 10 are B.Tech. Earlier, in the 65th result, only the top ten candidates were B.Tech. Topper Sudhir completed Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2019. Ankit Kumar, who secured the second rank, has done his B.Tech from IIT Guwahati. Monika Srivastava from Aurangabad studied Computer Science from IIT Guwahati in 2016. Vinay Kumar Ranjan has done M.Tech from IIT Delhi. Engineering services students are inclined towards civil services exams. The main reason for this is that BTech Syllabus is helpful in Civil Services preparation.

Monica got success in the first attempt Monica Srivastava, a resident of Aurangabad, succeeded in the BPSC examination by becoming an Assistant State Tax Commissioner in the first attempt. He secured sixth rank. After studying Computer Science Engineering from IIT Guwahati in 2016, he is currently working as a software engineer in Chennai. Monika said that along with her job, she was also self-studying daily. Now the goal is to clear UPSC along with a job in Bihar.
