NTA has updated the official website of JEE Main 2022. JEE Main 2022 registration is also expected to commence soon. The NTA has confirmed that there will be only two attempts at JEE Mains 2022. JEE Main 2022 consists of two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to be or B. JEE Mains 2022: eligibility criteria
Candidates should note that there is no age limit to participate in JEE Mains 2022. Candidates who have passed Class XII / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021, or have appeared in 2022 can appear in JEE (Main) – 2022 irrespective of their age. Examination however, candidates may be required to meet the age criteria of the institution in which they wish to be admitted.
Only those candidates who have passed Class XII or its equivalent in 2020, 2021, or who have sat in Class XII in 2022 are eligible to sit in JEE (Main) – 2022.
Candidates who have passed Class XII or its equivalent examination in 2019 or earlier as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2023 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE Mains 2022.
